Women's Leadership Program Regional Australia
In May 2017, we commenced our pilot Career Women’s Mentoring program on the NSW Central Coast. The program paired women in pre to middle management roles with women and men in senior leadership.
The growth and outcomes were overwhelmingly positive:
Confidence and ability to effectively Lead others increased by 62%
Confidence and ability to Network increased by 97%
Ability to Self-Promote increased by 81%
Self Confidence increased by 42%
Mentors also benefited and reported an uplift in all focus areas, as a result of their Executive Coaching sessions and from attending the group workshops.
The pilot program was a huge success and we are moving into other growth Regions of Australia. In 2018 we grew our program on the NSW Central Coast and expanded into Newcastle. Thanks to funding support from the NSW Government - Investing in Women program, we were able to offer five scholarship positions for Indigenous women or women from a disadvantaged background.
We are now taking Expression of Interest and Applications for our 2019 and 2020 programs. This includes our potential program in Maitland NSW. We would like to hear from anyone who is interested in being involved as a Sponsor, Participant or Mentor.
Subject to funding we again hope to offer a minimum of five mentee scholarship positions, for Indigenous women or women from a disadvantaged background.
Your financial investment will make a big difference. You can sponsor a position in our Scholarship fund and enable someone less fortunate to be involved in the program.
You can sponsor one of our workshops or networking events.
Contact us about being a donor or sponsor of one of our programs.
There are a number of ways you can get involved in our programs. We are recruiting participants and mentors.
It is a four to five month commitment and involves one on one mentoring and four half day group workshops.
